Such a tough mental challenge Sarah - you did it, and you will get through this race! Oh, and I loathe when people play music on trails...it is the worst!

It’s so great that you are taking this stage race on again. Inspiring for sure and I know how difficult it is to keep all the biomechanics firing well. I’m working my way back from Injury and have my eyes on the TranSelkirks stage race in 2025. Enjoy the rest of your prep and thanks again for the inspiration.

Thank you Janet! Is it your prior injury or something different & new? I have not heard of TranSelkirks so I am curious to look it up.

It’s Osteitis Pubis. I’ve been dealing with it off and on or more accurately ignoring it for too long. It got to the point where I couldn’t walk without pain. It’s a tough thing to heal but I’m on the road back after a few months off.

I was thinking of g2g initially but the distances are intimidating. Maybe 2026 I’ll be brave like you!

That race seems like the Moab 3-day stage race I did in March. It’s a lot of fun, not like G2G or MdS self-supported & camping.

Yes! A little luxurious with catered dinners and a bed 😂 but yes fun!

Sarah, way to go on finishing your long run! I'm glad that your knee is feeling better! I, too, have been struggling with ITBand issues which has caused me to pull back from running quite a bit. The mule you saw was so cute! What a friendly face to see on your run! Proud of you and your huge effort in training for this race! Keep up the great work!!!
