Absolutely amazing. Spent my childhood hood in Colorado in the summers helping build houses. I had forgotten just how beautiful it is. Looks like it might be time to revisit. Best of luck on your race.
Hello! I stumbled on your blog because I signed up for the women's hardrock camp and am now panicking trying to read every course description, wondering if I'll be able to complete the group runs! Eeek! Can you point me to any resources? Have I made a mistake??? Will I survive??
Hi—don’t panic! It’ll be beginner-oriented & supportive! The group runs aren’t that long. “Running” includes a lot of hiking! I look forward to meeting you there :-)
Thanks! I’d like to hear about your Mont Blanc tour with Billy’s group…maybe you can join the subscriber zoom in 2 weeks to let us know how it went :-)
I’m continually amazed at your bravery and willingness to take on new challenges. The 14er climb and the via ferreta (with a recent horrible death -yikes!) both would scare the bejesus out of me! Well done to all of you!
Ooof, the last nugget about the woman the fell...GD was not expecting THAT. You buried that lead with aplomb per usual. Thoroughly enjoyed your recap and photos...from sea level. Good luck at RRR and stand by for greatness from my amiga Tara Dower (coming off her FKT last month) who is toeing the Hare line. Cheers.
Thanks Mark for reading! As for RRR, I'll be a Tortoise with an early start, so Tara and the other Hares who start a few hours later will run by me in the early afternoon of Friday, Sept. 15. It'll be exciting and motivating to see them all, and I'll keep an eye on Tara. Here FKT is incredible.

Thank so much! Hope you can come back to visit.

Amazing. And so inspiring. I know that fear but am impressed with how you have addressed it and met it. I will try to do the same!!

Would love that! It was amazing. It was a stretch goal for me and I loved it! It made me confident in my ability to do something hard for me!

Thanks Jennifer -- you would adapt to this environment this way too! I really hope you can visit sometime.
