Sure, my name is Bridget Wilson. I live in Upstate NY, (Cornell/Syracuse area). As a kid I spent summers building houses in Breckenridge, so I know that area of Colorado. I’m an NP in the ER. Running goals are: to be able to run till my last days, BQ, and get into trail ultras. I’m 50 and sometimes I get a little discouraged about my ability to progress, but your posts give me inspiration, and maybe the kick in the ass I needed. Thank you.

Our messages must have crossed :-). So good to “meet“ you! I think we all get discouraged from time to time, but connecting with others who have similar goals as a great way to stay motivated. I am glad you are here!

I replied to the email but I got a message saying it didn’t go through? Did you get it ok? Tech is not my strong suit. Thanks

It did not go through. Perhaps the reply address was to Substack instead of my personal address? Try resending to my personal email sarahlavendersmith@gmail.com

I love the exciting description of your fast turkey 10k - and also the helpful advice about setting up a feasible race calendar. Glad to have the link to your article from last year about choosing and training for the A race plus the Colorado 100s that I’m already dreaming about! Lots of inspiration as I start to think about next year- thank you!
