What a cool trip, I have Galapagos high up on my list of places to visit. I am also interested in how the PRP goes, I’d like to explore that to help my case of Osteitis Pubis, also EMTT. I am happy to hear you are on a healing path and will be able to participate in Hardrock. As far as travel I am registered for Lavaredo, I know how you feel about UTMB (I don’t disagree) but I can’t resist the opportunity to run in the Dolomites. Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful photos! I love your point about making travel less about hitting up all of the must-sees and more about soaking in one main location and really immersing yourself in the experience. I think that is why I’ve always felt anxious about international travel; all of my travels have been centered around train-hopping and moving from hostel to hostel.
So glad you’re feeling optimistic about your injury. I hope your PRP injection gives you the near-immediate pain relief mine did in November for my IT band.
Amazing photos! And kudos for being smart on your injury. Too much too soon will lead to more and longer recovery. Patience, not something many runners are known for. (I hear ya on routine, I whacked a hamstring that only took me out for two weeks. I was going nuts). Travel safe!

Lavaredo has always looked amazing! Have a happy new year, and good luck with you healing.

Thank you!
What a wonderful 'feel good' read! Very happy to see you both so happy and rested. Congratulations on letting go and enjoying all the moments.
