I have zero financial interest in the Gnar Runners (https://gnarrunners.com/) group but I do respectfully recommend that you give them a try. They do trail races right and have a passionate following all along the Front Range (and beyond). Also, the Devil on the Divide 50K (Empire, CO) in September is a challenging loop with a community feel to it. Finally, the Colorado trail racing season pretty much starts with the Run Through Time trail marathon in Salida, early March.
I’m glad you mentioned Gnar! I was supposed to do their Never Summer 100K a few summers ago, but my travel plans did not work out to get up there. I actually have never heard of the Run Through Time marathon so I will check it out.
