I am terrified of getting Covid because of the immunosuppressive drugs I am on. My doctor has warned me that even a common cold could put me in a hospital. And I have to be vigilant for myself because a lot of the world has just decided it is no longer a big deal. But it is a big deal for some of us. I even changed my plans to drive to Javelina, will be wearing a mask even outdoors at the expo and probably will be wearing one on the start line too. I hope you get to go on your dream trip and feel better soon!

And people wonder why I’ll still wearing a mask indoors! I hope everyone recovers soon.

Woefully behind on my reading, but thanks for sharing this. I hope by now this is a distant memory for you and your husband. Stark reminder to many people I've heard say "it's just like the flu".

Ugh! That stinks. I got the shot a month ago WITH the flu shot (which certainly hit me the day after) and I'm hoping that we don't get a massive surge in school. Being a teacher planning around this pandemic has been more challenge than I need. I hope that you are all feeling better soon! And thank you for the reminder that this is still out there and it's still terrible. I think many of us have just gotten too used to its presence.

First, thanks for sharing so honestly about your experience with Covid--again. Humbling and frightening and so human. Yuck. May you heal soon and find ease in your body. And second, thanks for the shout out for Emerging Form! I am so glad it was helpful for your creative practice! Wishing you a full recovery and grace in frustration. Rosemerry

I'm sorry to hear you're both battling covid again, but really glad to hear both of you (and Morgan especially, given his scary situation last time) are on the mend. My wife and I both were sick for two weeks with covid in the latter half of September after most likely catching it on a flight back to MA from Kansas City (we were both masked, but the lady across the aisle from us who coughed nonstop for most of the flight was not...). It was pretty brutal, and my worst symptoms were before I tested positive. I lost what were supposed to be my two biggest mileage weeks leading up to a 30-hour race, and also skipped a 6-hour race I was entered in that was going to serve as a glorified training run. We also both last had covid early on - January 2020, before it was known to be in the country. That was a scary time.

Fingers crossed that you both continue to improve, that negative tests arrive soon, and that your trip goes smooth!
